 What do you want to do:

•  Identify and master challenges, develop testable hypotheses and have significant business impact. 
• Lead the design and analysis of experiments or develop causal and predictive models to test your ideas. 
• Collaborate with product and engineering to influence changes to production systems and provide input to other teams. 
• Communicate your findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Keep the team and our projects up to date on the latest developments in ML and statistics by reading articles and attending conferences and community events.
• Create and automate sample pipelines in a Python service.

What it takes to succeed:

•  Bachelor's degree or  equivalent work experience  required. Quantitative training in IT, statistics, econometrics, applied mathematics, physics, etc. 
• Experience with statistical/data analysis programs and packages (pandas/statsmodels/sklearn in Python, R, etc.). 
• Experience with predictive modeling/machine learning, forecasting, or causal inference. I enjoy writing beautiful code; You don't need to be an expert, but experience is better and we want you to learn on the job.
• Demonstrated talent for applied research, 
• curiosity to discover promising solutions to new problems, and perseverance to bring your ideas  to your ultimate goal. Drive to develop deep product and business knowledge and link abstract modeling and analysis tasks to business value. Ability to work in a Unix environment.
