  What you do:

•  Identify and manage complex problems, make testable hypotheses and make a significant impact on the business.
• Lead the design and analysis of experiments to test ideas or develop causal and predictive models.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to influence changes in production systems and provide input to other teams. 
• Communicate your findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Keep our team and project up to date with new developments in ML and statistics by reading articles and attending conferences and local events.
• Create and automate model pipelines in Python services. 

What it takes to succeed:

•  We expect a bachelor's degree or  equivalent work experience.
• Education in a quantitative discipline such as computer science, statistics, econometrics, applied mathematics, physics, etc. 
• Experience with data analysis/statistical software and packages (pandas/statsmodels/sklearn in Python, R, etc.). 
• Experience with predictive modeling/machine learning, forecasting, or causal inference. Love to write beautiful code; You don't need to be an expert, but experience is helpful and we expect you to learn on the job.
• Proven ability for applied research,  curiosity to find promising solutions to new problems, and determination to take your ideas  to their final destination.
• Motivation develops deep product and business knowledge and connects abstract modeling and analysis tasks with business value. Nice to work in a Unix environment.

  What you get:

•  Compensation ranges from $106,000 to $235,000 per year.
• You may also be offered a bonus, restricted stock units and incentives.
