what are you doing
- Our Assistant must assist in the day-to-day operations of the Service Center to ensure excellent results are achieved and targets are met quarter by quarter, month by month in all matters related to customers, people, operations and finance.
- Customer Focus: Our customers make the world of difference and it is your responsibility to exceed their expectations of the service experience. We look forward to you going above and beyond for your clients. As an Associate Service Manager, you will lead your team to improve their customer service practices and help the team develop and implement appropriate standards and processes to continually improve the overall service experience.
- People: Our Service Managers lead by example and expect you to put your team's success before your own. The team expects from you open communication, active problem solving and a positive working atmosphere. You must have the ability to inspire and lead your team to achieve both day-to-day and strategic goals, and you must work with the Service Manager to ensure the development and growth of your team.
- Operational Excellence: As an Associate Service Manager, you will need to understand all aspects of how your service center operates and work with our Service Managers to drive efficiency and drive continuous improvement across all operational areas. You must actively drive exceptional performance from your team and collaborate with your team to identify and eliminate waste in work processes. We expect you to promote safety, efficiency, quality and overall excellence in all your actions and decisions.
- Finances: Our Associate Service Manager should understand our business, know their numbers and ensure excellence in the daily operations of the center to achieve specific goals for productivity, quality, production, costs and income/margins as possible.
- Our service managers always act in Tesla's best interest. You must have a passion for our mission, people and customers.
- Technical Skills Required - You must develop knowledge of all Tesla products and service systems, processes and procedures.

what you bring
- Educational experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. ·
- Work experience: previous management experience in a service-oriented field. Car knowledge is not required.
- Leadership Experience: Experience leading teams and managing a variety of roles and responsibilities.
- Process/Operations Experience: Previous experience leading downstream, technical repair or production teams in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment with strong customer responsibilities.
- Experience managing complex processes using Lean or other techniques is preferred.
