  What you do:

•  You are planning events! Conception, negotiation, planning and execution of fresh, fun and vibrant (big wow factor!) events/parties
•  You'll engage with Yelpers and business owners in person and online through all social media  (and Yelp, of course).
•  You are responsible for marketing  the area - contact the right local organizations, sponsor weekly newsletters to promote Yelp.
•  You will interact and meet  Yelpers. Attend local events.
• To see and be seen. In the scene. Be the mayor. Always on time. 
• You will write engaging weekly local newsletters  and daily inspirational reviews  as well as compelling presentations to venues and marketing partners.
•  You will be responsible for excellent communication with  your team, colleagues and those who support you at Yelp HQ

•  You are driven!

•  You live in Boston and consider yourself a local expert (see below)
•  You have more than a few years of postgraduate professional work experience
•  You love to write - you know who you are... pens!
•  year college degree OR at least 5 years event planning/community building experience
•  Currently living and rocking  in Boston
•  Experience with social media marketing, social networking, guerilla marketing tactics and event planning
