 Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

•  Promote a safe work environment by following all safety measures
•  Maintain material handling control systems, industrial, motor control systems, servo and frequency drive, and power distribution systems
•  Monitor material handling equipment (MHE) metrics and work with plumbing technician and mechanics to resolve electrical issues causing equipment malfunction.
•  Use operating system evaluation reports to improve the reliability of the materials handling system by performing preventive maintenance  and correcting deficiencies.
•  Refer to operations and network support resources for guidance and assistance in returning equipment  to operational status with minimal downtime.
•  Communication of technical issues with RME and Amazon Operations Leadership
•  Move up to 9 pounds and stand and walk  with or without reasonable accommodation for shifts of up to 12 hours.
•  Minimum 50% pre-issued travel requirement for various construction commissioning and training assignments.

 BASIC STUDIES

•  1 year of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications 
•  Associate's degree or 2 years of professional or military experience
•  Work a flexible schedule/shifts/work area including weekends, nights and/or holidays

 FAVORABLE QUALIFICATIONS

•  Associate Degree in Electronics Engineering (or equivalent)
•  2 years internship or equivalent experience in control systems troubleshooting/programming
•  2 years  experience in motor control equipment (motor starters, frequency converters, DC drives and standard electrical components)
•  2 years  experience in network control component repair 
•  1 year experience in HMI components
•  1 year experience in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
•  1 year experience in industrial electrical field practical experience and troubleshooting. Experience in supporting various conveyors and sorting systems
•  Project management experience and ability to train others. Experience in robot maintenance
•  Experience with AB RS LOGIX 5000 PLCs and PLC components
•  Experience with SCADA systems and KPIs
