 what will you do

  •  Promote operational excellence.
  •   Manage and integrate all aspects of flight operations including customer service, ramp, baggage, catering, security etc. 
  • Lead the airport crew in a safe, efficient manner and in compliance with state and local regulations, including DOT, FAA and other local authorities. agencies Create an environment that cares about our frontline team members and celebrates  team successes. 
  • Provide  exceptional support to the front line through a variety of mechanisms  to deliver excellent customer service. Coaches and mentors in skills development, customer service improvement and corporate culture behavior. Promote  mutual respect and trust between frontline  members. 
  • Establish and foster effective relationships with external and internal clientele that promote compassion, authenticity, honesty, respect and dignity.
  • Creates effective alliances and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Provide leadership and an appropriate support structure with effective resources to enable the team to achieve high performance. 
  • Assess operating environment and conditions to ensure corporate and local scorecard metrics are met through cross-departmental and cross-level collaboration.
  • May initiate or authorize the hiring, promotion, resignation or transfer of an employee.
  •  Performs other tasks and project work as needed.

Everything you need to succeed

  •  3 years of experience in airport management or related field. Higher education or equivalent work experience is required.  Strong leadership skills.
  •  Previous management experience and knowledge of budget, policies and procedures related to airport operations is desirable.
  •  Knowledge of the functional area.  Strong people, management and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.  Ability to manage non-management and contract workgroups.
  •  Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  •  Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently. What you get
