You will use Infrastructure as Code best practices to manage change in development and production environments.  ROLE

•  Automate, document, share, train, delegate and improve processes.  
• Prototyping potential features.
•  Prepare conceptual and detailed engineering design documents and standards.
•  Improve automation of applications, systems and platforms and identify opportunities for process efficiencies and continuous  improvement.

•  Participates in, interprets and communicates business, technical, project and operational strategies to the team.
•  Develops a team vision with management for development of new features according to  a published roadmap.
• Ensures that proposed and existing systems are consistent with organizational standards, goals and objectives.
•   Plans and directs activities that align short-term goals with long-term initiatives and provide accurate and timely estimates of work distribution schedules. 
• Collaborates with teams, management and stakeholders to design, engineer, build, test and release products.

•  Organize system updates and/or improvements. 
• Promotes and supports a culture of compliance, risk prevention/mitigation and corporate responsibility throughout the organization through technical leadership, understanding business needs, developing and communicating policies, procedures and plans, and ensuring compliance resolution plans. architectural standards, technological protection fences, safety and usage instructions.
•  Provides leadership/mentoring to team members, implements development impacts, creates appropriate. documentation, streamlines team operations and technical growth, and supports the release model
•  Optimize team effectiveness and performance through advanced technical leadership.
•  Provides technical guidance in application implementation, strategic planning, requirements documentation, tool implementation, database queries and programming languages.
•   Uses  expertise to support industry standard source control and source change  techniques.  
• Presents technical plans and solutions to executives, management and other audiences to achieve consensus and/or project approval.
•   Plans, designs and implements cloud network configurations with a focus on scalability and reliability.
•  Create and manage infrastructure as code (IaC).
•  Plans and implements transition solutions for on-premises and cloud networks. 
•  Writes and maintains technical documentation.  
• Develops tool integrations that enable end-to-end tracking of application development (from requirements to compliant code objects).
•  Collaborates with operations, development and other teams to develop solutions that are prone to scalability and simplified maintenance.
•  Configure and maintain on-premise and Azure cloud infrastructure to ensure availability, performance, scalability and security for development, test and production environments using automated scripting and configuration management tools.
•  Maintain, extend and build automated CI and CD pipelines.  
•  Uses industry standard tools to improve and accelerate the delivery of our products and services.  
• Provides prompt and thoughtful problem resolution by making corrections or proactively identifying and resolving issues related to  production environments.
•  Coordinate resources across technology functions to stand up and monitor environments.
•  Works closely with product and application teams to create a branching release strategy.
•  Collaborate with other web designers to share knowledge and promote best practices.

  REQUIRED

• 5 years of IT experience.  
• Experience building and managing cloud services, especially Azure, is required.
• Familiarity with on-premise and Azure cloud networks.
• Demonstrate experience with Azure network resources (virtual networks, public and private IP addresses, virtual network connectivity, routing, firewall and Azure Virtual NAT)
• Experience with Azure CDN and load balancing resources (Front Door, Load Balancer)
• Understanding of on-premise and cloud DNS solutions (Azure DNS, Domain Controller)
• Ability to design network solutions that support a  variety of use cases.
• Demonstrates continuous integration / continuous delivery experience.
• Experience working in infrastructure such as code generation CI/CD pipelines,  greenfield scenario.  
• Understanding of development/coding methodologies.
• Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to think logically about problem situations. 
• Solid understanding of application architecture, networking technologies, application security and infrastructure architecture.
• High integrity, sense of responsibility, positive attitude and willingness to do everything to make the team successful.
• Team player, good communication skills, organizational and communication skills. Creative, likes challenges.
• Able to support after-hours work as needed, including weekends, holidays and 2/7 on-call.
