 Data Engineer - Data Analytics is responsible for running analytics and data services from end-to-end data pipelines. This role focuses on data processing to create and deliver automated data pipelines from multiple internal and external data sources. The Data Architect works with product owners, engineering and data platform teams to design, build, test and automate data pipelines that are trusted across the enterprise as a single source of truth.

  ROLE

 Supports the development of data dictionaries and data taxonomy product solutions.  

•  demonstrates a strong understanding of coding and programming concepts for building data pipelines (eg data transformation, data quality, data integration, etc.).
•   Build data models using Data Architect and develop data pipelines to store data in defined data models and structures.
•   Performs ad hoc data migration for business reports and dashboards.
•   Assess the integrity of data from multiple sources.
•   Manages database configuration, including software installation and updating and maintenance of relevant documentation.  
•  Monitors database performance and resource usage.
•   Develops and manages data pipelines for data to be consumed (BI, Advanced analytics, Services).
•   Collaborates with data architects and data/BI engineers to design data pipelines and recommend continuous optimization of data storage, data collection, data quality and orchestration. 
•  Designs, develops and implements ETL/ELT processes using IICS (Informatica cloud). 
•  Uses Azure services such as Azure SQL DW (Synapse), ADLS, Azure Event Hub, Azure Data Factory to improve and accelerate the delivery of our data products and services.  ● Implements Big Data and NoSQL solutions, developing scalable computing platforms that bring valuable information to the organization.
•  Identifies, plans and implements internal process improvements: automation of manual processes, optimization of information transfer.
• Identifies opportunities to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality of data management.
• Communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience, both in writing and orally.
• Performs expert assessments of other IT tasks.

REQUIRED

•  5 years of experience in designing and implementing data pipelines with large and complex data sets.
•  5 years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
•  2 years of hands-on experience in Informatica IICS.
•  Three years of experience working with cloud technologies such as ADLS, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Databricks Live Table, Spark, Azure Synapse, Cosmos DB and other big data technologies.
•  Extensive work experience  with various data sources (SQL, Oracle database, flat files (csv, limited), Web API, XML). 
• Advanced SQL skills required. Thorough understanding of relational databases and enterprise data; ability to write complex SQL queries against multiple data sources.
•  5 years of experience in data modeling, ETL and data warehousing.
•  Knowledge of database storage concepts (data lake, relational databases, NoSQL, Graph, data warehouse).
•  Flexibility to meet  business needs, including weekends, holidays and 2/7 on-call. 
• You can work in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
