We are looking for someone who:

•  Has a strong accounting background and knowledge of external reporting and applicable regulations to meet legal requirements in multiple countries (mainly, but not limited to Mexico, Colombia and Argentina);

•  He has strong analytical skills, which is reflected in his detail-oriented love for data. You will produce quality work reviewing significant volumes and system data to reconcile accounts and resolve issues;

•  He has a passion for accounting and financial reporting and general finance;
•  is an independent star who can handle the workload effectively and independently;

You are responsible for:

•  Workflow improvements in a fast-paced environment. You communicate effectively and build strong working relationships with external advisors and internal teams.
•  Using analytics to design and implement standardized procedures and intelligent (systems/automation) solutions for reporting requirements. Influence and lead change in a positive, energetic and inclusive style. We work with multi-time zone teams  to collaborate with our US and international offices. Regarding the differences in the complexity and importance of monitoring several balance sheet accounts and the corresponding sub-ledger;
•  Understands how systems work together to improve and automate as much as possible. You will proactively identify gaps in current systems and lead a multidisciplinary effort to design, test and implement new technologies and tools.
•  Use good judgment and make healthy decisions. You can listen to others, prioritize things and escalate things with sufficient justification;
•  Collaborate with outsourced service providers to manage and prepare mandatory financial reports, static reports and other support responsibilities as required;
•  Collaboration with multidisciplinary colleagues in financial, tax and IT organizations,  financial and accounting training and management to implement unique projects;
•   PandL and balance sheet analysis (US GAAP, local GAAP and IFRS) - accruals, prepayments, variance analysis, etc.

Eligibility:

•  Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent  in-depth  practical knowledge of accounting, CPA/IFRS preferred;
•  Knowledge of IFRS (or equivalent IFRS) and/or  other LATAM local generally accepted accounting principles;
•  8 years of accounting experience, preferably in a large, rapidly developing international company (Big Four experience is beneficial);
•  Experience in preparing binding documents for international organizations;
•  experience in gathering international accounting and tax requirements;
•  Technical/entertainment experience is a plus but not essential as long as you are enthusiastic about the role, have a strong accounting background and are able to learn quickly;
•  Advanced knowledge of English and Spanish is required.
