The corporate strategy team is focused on growing the value of the cross-industry enterprise  as Delta navigates the pandemic and develops Delta's unique competitive advantages and strength as a leading customer brand. This lead role helps develop Delta's long-term strategic roadmap, identify operational opportunities and understand related value creation/capture. This position is also responsible for supporting Delta C-Suite's key executive and board-level priorities and helps track partnership opportunities to achieve our long-term goals.

 Main Features:

•  Collaborate with management and senior management across departments to identify, define and design end-to-end key strategic opportunities and challenges.
•  Distill strategic themes, ideas and opportunities into specific deliverables, plans and initiatives.
• Plan approaches to problem solving, identify necessary analysis and supporting information, and communicate both resolution and progress. Manage cross-functional teams that develop and maintain knowledge of key industry trends, market dynamics and competitive benchmarking to strengthen or modify strategies as needed.
• Maintain accountability for deliverables and timelines, shift priorities as needed and manage stakeholder relationships and expectations.
•  Support the preparation of materials for the board and other board meetings together with other company managers.

 WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)

•  7 years of  experience  developing and implementing strategic planning or large-scale / cross-functional program management in Delta, other large corporations, strategic consulting  or investment banking.
• Ability to work effectively with senior management on C-Suite and Board issues to drive change and achieve strategic goals.
•  Having management as an effective change agent that drives impact and vision across the company and translates the strategic plan into concrete and easy-to-understand goals.
• Experience performing financial analysis, analytical modeling, data analysis to support the exploration of strategic opportunities and development of creative solutions to complex problems.
•  Experience in researching external trends, sources, information to form perspectives/opinions/recommendations on rapidly changing or ambiguous topics.
•  A freelancer who demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•  Always prioritizes the safety  of self, others and personal information.
•  Covers different people, thoughts and styles.
•  Possesses a high school diploma, GED or high school equivalency.
•  He or she is at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.

WHAT GIVES YOU A COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE (CHEAP QUALIFICATIONS)
