 Hobby Lobby Service Desk Technician (TIER1 Tech Support) experience this every day with our colleagues and end users! As a TIER1 Technician, you will have a direct and positive impact by responding to incoming technical support requests  to resolve desktop, application, network, hardware and software issues with our end users. We can also  support project management teams by providing maintenance, software installation and upgrades to our enterprise and retail  environments.

 Key Functions / Job Description

  •  Be the first point of contact for all end users requiring technical support for internal Hobby Lobby applications, IT security issues and other end user hardware or software issues.
  • Be proactive with your internal customers to resolve issues and inform our team members and customers during the incident/request. 
  • Professionally, clearly and concisely record and track details of technical solutions provided to resolve customer issues while maintaining and updating our internal case management application. Resolve, escalate and handle incidents/requests according to documented guidelines and procedures. 
  • Support our project managers with  software/hardware implementations and assist with the installation of new or legacy store equipment. Assists in developing and maintaining technical documentation. 

Other duties as assigned

 Desired requirements:

  •  Any relevant technical certifications such as CompTIA A, Network or CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
  •  Associate's or bachelor's degree in a technology-related field
  •  Previous technical support experience
