 Obligations

•  Provides friendly service  and maintains positive relationships with all internal and external customers
•  Works collaboratively to ensure the success of our company
•  Provides effective management of local operations to ensure quality service and timely performance for Southwest Airlines customers
•  Ensures proper administration of employment contracts or agreements with an emphasis on minimizing labor disputes
•  Administer programs to develop employee skills
•  Selects, trains and evaluates reserve agents and supervisory personnel
•  Supports effective management of company resources, controls costs, and achieves local and system-wide goals
•  Monitors  quality, quantity and procurement of supplies
•  Maintains a safe work environment and implements programs designed to  reduce accidents and injuries
•  Coordinates the distribution of all required maintenance supplies to non-observant stations and provides  adequate training and support for maintenance operations to personnel at these stations.
•  May perform SIDA signature duties as assigned

 May perform other  duties as directed by the employee's manager, including special projects

 Knowledge, skills and abilities

•  Ability to work well with others as  a team member
•  You have good written and verbal communication, an effective management style, problem-solving skills and good working relationships
•  Must be aware of hazardous situations and be able to handle emergency situations as needed
•  Ability to understand and manage all regulations including federal, safety and FDA regulations
•  Ability to work under tight deadlines
•  Ability to communicate effectively orally via telephone, radio, face-to-face and public address systems
•  Demonstrate your ability to lead and motivate
•  Ability to type and/or use a computer keyboard at a speed sufficient  to meet  job requirements
•  Ability to meet the public and work well in stressful situations
•  Proficient in various computer packages, including Microsoft Office products and operating tools
•  You must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
•  You must have an understanding of airlines and cross-departmental and ground operations. Knowledge of collective  agreements
