The Walt Disney Games Marketing team works with licensees to deliver high-quality campaigns, helping each licensee successfully create/implement marketing plans that increase brand awareness, engage consumers and drive conversions through thoughtful brand storytelling, data insight and creativity. innovation - all based on a consumer-centric integrated marketing approach.

The Marketing Manager reports to the Marketing Manager. Provide a portfolio and relevant work experience.

You can do it

  • Responsible for the product portfolio of the Disney Games global business unit and ensuring the successful launch and live operation of these games in partnership with licensees, primarily focused on Lucasfilm and 20th Century Games.
  • Independently drive the strategic vision of marketing campaigns and provide meaningful direction to licensees on activations, daily creative reports and marketing materials.
  • Work closely with internal cross-functional teams (Production, PR, Franchise, Legal and others) to leverage their expertise at all stages of product development and ensure success.
  • Be a strong steward of The Walt Disney Company brands, specifically providing information and support to licensees and executing executions to ensure superior marketing and creative execution.
  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative insights with licensees to identify marketing opportunities that inform and help shape players/target audiences, positioning, marketing plans, creative development and campaign activation.

you have

  • Knowledge of project management tools and platforms (eg JIRA, Box, Monday)
  • Well organized, caring project manager; ability to multitask and prioritize
  • KeyNote/PowerPoint skills; the ability to tell a story in a creatively engaging way
  • Solid understanding of third party tools used to obtain application market and competitive intelligence
  • Knowledge of the entertainment industry with a focus on communications and gaming

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in marketing, game industry
  • Goal-oriented strategic/creative thinker with proven ownership and leadership results
  • Proven success in brand management, product marketing, user acquisition and social/community marketing strategies/campaigns
  • Excellent analytical skills; ability to translate qualitative/quantitative data into actionable insights that tell a story
  • Strong communication skills; ability to influence and "sell" strategies to a wide audience
  • Resourceful problem solver with a can-do attitude; works well under pressure
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
