The Lead Developer plays an important role in creating and maintaining a strategic partnership between business needs and technology delivery. The primary role of a developer is to take responsibility for the planning, design, development and implementation of effective systems and solutions that support the core functions of the organization. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical and problem solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve issues, opportunities or problems to improve the benefits of IT and business investments. The lead developer is highly experienced and has decision-making authority. The Lead Developer is self-sufficient, does not require direct supervision, and participates in mentoring senior/junior developers. They work closely with the lead architect to design sustainable innovative solutions and share responsibility for technology delivery. The lead developer has extensive knowledge/experience in multiple technologies and business areas.

•   Leads the design, development and engineering of solutions and technology standards to solve complex business problems
•  Hands-on software development, support and repair as needed, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and tracking of all issues and resolutions
•  Design and deploy scalable, integrated, highly available and reliable applications in the cloud
•  Collaborates with business, support or development teams to recommend system improvements
•  Consults on various United Information Technology projects and technology areas to perform troubleshooting, problem management, root cause analysis and  implementation of solutions.
•  Acts as a resource in technology/project development audits and technical assessments
•  Ensures  technical solutions meet clients' business objectives
•  Provide consultation and technical management in project life cycle planning
•  Ensure consistency and alignment with company standards and guiding principles throughout the application lifecycle
•  Define internal processes and standards for application delivery. Finds ways to use/influence existing infrastructure and application components
•  Ensure continuous performance and stability of delivered applications with updates and modernization. Stay up-to-date on industry trends through benchmarking, participating in professional associations, etc.  advise others on strategic technology 
•  Provides feedback to business technology owners and architects on future solution needs
•  Understands and implements the company's vision and strategy into a project solution while balancing tactical needs 
•  Collaborate with various business and IT team members to define domain architecture strategy
•  Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of application architecture and architectural frameworks when combined with enterprise architecture
•  Demonstrate mastery of development areas and application of  multiple technologies and tools
•  Demonstrate mastery of software engineering and agile development
•  Responsible for PCI/SOX environments and development

 Qualifications

•  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field
•  2 years  experience with AWS services like API Gateway/Lambda and elastic Beanstalk
•  2 years of experience with AWS databases (RDS, PostgreSQL, Redshift)
•  7 years of experience with .Net, ASP.NET, C# and SQL Server
•  5 years of experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture and RESTful web services
•  5 years of experience in designing and developing relational databases
•  3 years of experience as a lead developer in a team environment
•  Experience coding and delivering quality components and/or applications on time
•  Experience testing components and units according to standard practices and procedures
•  Exceptional in the application of technologies and industrial knowledge in the delivery of developed components or integrated components
•  Exceptional work problems of a moderate scale, where the analysis of situations or data requires the consideration of several factors
•  Great for ordering or analyzing situations to support production 
•  Excel with on-time delivery with minimal oversight
•  Effective verbal and written communicator
•  Effective participant in requirements gathering and  analysis
•  Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States  without sponsorship
•  Successful completion of the interview is necessary to meet the requirements of the position
