 Senior Architect - Cloud Cyber ​​​​​​Security Supports efforts to develop cloud security capabilities for United Airlines. You will be part of an interdisciplinary cyber team responsible for the security architecture of the entire stack. In this role, the architect creates and maintains information security-related documentation and collaborates with product, platform, design, and operations teams to ensure that information security standard practices are applied throughout the lifecycle of an application or system. This role contributes to the continuous improvement of cyber control and related playbooks, workflows, processes and procedures.

•  Develop and promote security and resilience architecture strategies, frameworks and models, working closely with other cybersecurity teams and  partner organizations.
•  Actively collaborate with partners to understand business requirements and develop supporting security and resilience policies to ensure adoption of industry and enterprise standard practices.
•  Demonstrates expert technology knowledge in two or more areas such as security, resilience, infrastructure, platform, product, endpoint, application, identity management and  security, and zero trust.
•  Analyze technical risks of existing network/systems and application architectures (IAAS/PAAS/SAAS and default) against relevant policies and risks and prepare appropriate remediation or mitigation plans.
•  Helps define and implement security standards/frameworks
•  Train and lead development and engineering teams on cloud integration of CI/CD pipeline tools, test plans and vulnerability assessment tools
•  Fight for complete configuration and overall success of secure infrastructure for IaaS, PaaS and SaaS environments
•  Threat modeling, end-to-end security assessment, design and development of cloud security policies, standards and procedures for various  public/private/hybrid clouds

 Qualifications

•  What is needed to succeed (minimum requirements):
•  Bachelor's degree
•  years of technical experience directly from the cloud (AWS)
•  Experience with AWS security, administration and management
•  Proven experience in developing, optimizing, and implementing information security technologies, including application security, information security, network security, and identity and access management
•  Strong knowledge of cloud services technologies
•  Personal character and the ability to work as  part of or effectively lead a team 
•  Strong written and verbal communication skills
•  Good analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
•  Programming language structures and logic
•  Knowledge of common enemy tactics, techniques and procedures
•  Information about how traffic flows in the network and packet-level analysis
•  Secure Software Development Lifecycle SSDLC Understands the processes around the developer and DevOps experience, from code assembly to system image creation (containers, system images), continuous integration and continuous deployment, and the tests/validations that occur in that process.
•  Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States  without sponsorship
