  We have an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, data-driven  TPM who enjoys the challenge of working collaboratively to achieve results that are central to our Disney parks, experiences and products. The team is responsible for supporting the  beautiful state-of-the-art parks, retail  and hotel technology product roadmap for US and international parks. The team develops technology such as payments, inventory management, sales services and more! You will work closely with multiple teams - Engineering, Product Management, Finance and Operations to define action plans and requirements and ultimately measure results for critical guest initiatives.

 Basic Responsibilities:

  •  Leads the capability action plan and defines the quality of work dedicated to the group/team.
  • Improve and tune your processes and overall efficiency. 
  • Provides customer and management support in product and project management and design management families
  •  Mentor junior team members in all aspects of the program lifecycle and lead our engineering teams on roadmap readiness, prioritization and deliverables. 
  • Acts as a liaison between business users and the implementation team, communicating appropriately and effectively with co-workers, customers and supervisors, maintaining the status of the project  and possible delays, situations or problems that may affect project results. Leads program/project meetings at management and executive level.
  • Manage and lead technical discussions and program alignment and act as a gatekeeper and negotiator with our business and product partners. 
  • Continually review available resources to maintain first-hand knowledge of where resources can best be deployed. Reassess current resources to address project resource excesses and shortages.
  • Establishes clear program/project ownership, ensures team members have the tools they need, and provides timely feedback. 
  • Proactively communicate team/team status, issues and risks to management.
  • Organizes regular company meetings with the team and partners, constantly keeping the needs and requirements of customers visible.
  • Collaborates with engineering managers to maintain detailed knowledge of product features and ensure clear communication between program/project teams and stakeholders to ensure compliance throughout its lifecycle. 

Skills, knowledge, experience, education, licenses and certifications:

  •  Four-year university degree in information technology, business administration or similar field or similar work experience. 
  • 5 years of experience as a technical product manager, technical program manager, engineer or project manager working on user interfaces, web services, databases and cloud infrastructure projects. 
  • Demonstrate  consistent and measurable execution of large cross-functional, high-level initiatives. 
  • Strong technical skills and experience leading technical initiatives across multiple teams and functional areas. 
  • Experience  synthesizing complex or diverse project data and information.
