  Customer experience

•  Engages customers and patients by greeting them and providing assistance with products and services.
• Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience.

Activities

•  Responsible for holding shop keys for unsupervised opening and closing as required. Assists  and guides other team members in working with the warehouse and supplier order process during order creation, review and receipt, including opening the back door for supplier deliveries.
• Accountability and responsibility for recording all related sales to assigned cash register, including scan errors, price changes, unknown files, price changes and voids. 
• Assists manager or assistant store manager in reviewing order exceptions on order release date and assists with reverse logistics (eg 1506, return, empty package). 
• Assists manager or assistant store manager in evaluating and developing presentations including promotional, seasonal, superstructures and merchandising.
• Completes restarts and versions. Maintains accurate inventory levels; maintain accuracy of available quantities, including but not limited to basic departments, inventory and excess locations. Help ensure team members track aging. You are responsible for core department pricing and  daily price changes; make sure the store has proper labeling to support accurate product pricing.
• Ensures that all additional pricing tasks related to local regulations and/or regulatory compliance programs are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assists with accounting operations, including cash statements, cash receipts, general ledgers and bill payment as needed or  requested. 
• Assists in performing exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring cleanliness, orderly  condition and appearance of the store, including requesting repairs to the store or system  in the absence of supervisors or at the request of supervisors. Assists in food separation (eg raw and pre-cooked food) and product placement according to policy/procedures (eg raw and frozen meat on lowest shelves).
• For consumables, using the first-in, first-out and inventory method helps with inventory turnover. Own working knowledge of store systems and store layout.
• On request, help from the outside window of the pharmacy. Ensures compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco products.
• Responsible for checking bags of team members before leaving the store.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with colleagues. Performs special tasks and other tasks in accordance with regulations.

Education and personal development

•  Attends training and completes the required driver's PPL permits.
• Obtain and maintain a valid PTCB certificate or pharmacy license as required by state.

Communication

•  Acts as a liaison between management and non-management members, delegating assigned tasks to team members when store management is not present. 
• Reports disciplinary matters and customer complaints to management.
