Assists in the development and design of deliverables that support the resolution of moderately complex problems and technical design deficiencies under general supervision. Supports improvement initiatives consistent with the global reliability of enterprise systems, including capacity planning, fault tolerance strategies, performance improvements, and awareness/resolution reduction.

What you will do:

• Assists in the development and design of deliverables that support the resolution of moderately complex problems and technical design deficiencies under general supervision.
• Support improvement initiatives consistent with the global reliability of Dataworks systems, including capacity planning, failover strategies, performance improvements, and awareness/resolution reduction.
• Manage the operation of critical applications used by external and internal customers, resolve incidents, provide operational support, maintenance, improvements.
• Create a site reliability strategy and action plan and help establish an SRE working model.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement changes. Automate support functions to improve operational efficiency.
• Evaluate the technology stack and implement new technologies to improve reliability. What you know:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Information Systems and/or equivalent formal education and/or work experience.
• Two (2) years of equivalent work experience in an IT or design environment. An associate degree can offset experience requirements.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong SRE background in cloud platforms, software development, DevOps and IT
• Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, Azure or other cloud technologies
• Experience with data architecture using Azure Data Explorer, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Event Hub, Flink, Cosmos DB etc. Experience with software development using Azure Kubernetes Service, API and webhooks
• Experience with software development in a modern front-end ecosystem including Angular and React
• Experience with visualization tools such as Power BI
• Infrastructure Information as Code (IaC) such as Terraform
• Experience enabling visibility into product performance through appropriate tools such as Dynatrace, App Dynamics and Azure App Insights, PagerDuty, Datadog, etc. Experience/knowledge of capacity planning, demand forecasting based on product KPIs and supply. FinOps - cloud cost management experience
