 Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a fleet of low-Earth orbit satellites to provide low-latency high-speed broadband  to unserved and underserved communities around the world. In this role, you will realize the vision  by leading a team responsible for the design, development and testing of software required for satellite ground operations.

Basic tasks

•  Define and lead the team's multi-year vision. Monitor the  allocation of resources to ensure relevant business and staff development objectives are met. 
• Participate in strategic planning to achieve technical and business goals. 
• Work closely with engineers to provide architects with the best technical plans and approaches.
• Hire and support top talent to achieve team goals. Export Control Requirement:
•  Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, applicants must be a  citizen or national of the United States, a permanent resident of the United States (ie, a current green card holder), or be lawfully admitted to the United States as a refugee or asylum seeker.

 About the team

•  Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch an array of low-Earth orbit satellites to provide low-latency, high-speed broadband Internet access to unserved and underserved communities around the world.  BASIC STUDIES
•  5 years of experience leading a design team 
•  7 years of experience working directly with design teams 
•  3 years of experience in the design or architecture of new and existing systems (design models, reliability and scale)
•  Experience working with product or program management teams

 FAVORABLE QUALIFICATIONS

•  3 years experience in embedded software development.
• 3 years of work experience  in a hardware-software integration environment.
