•  This position is a member of the Line Maintenance Team in the Integrated Operations Department.
• Responsible for supervising aircraft maintenance technicians in the repair and recovery of American Airlines aircraft. Instructors are  leaders  in the safe, compliant and timely recycling of our aircraft. They do this by effectively managing workloads, resources and  relationships with internal customers and support teams, as well as external regulators and suppliers.

 what will you do

•  Directs and manages terminal and/or hangar  maintenance through skippers and managers
•  Monitors the implementation of the organization's plans, processes, policies and procedures
•  Ensures teams are used effectively to deliver workloads
•  Meets company objectives in accordance with company policies and procedures
•  You are responsible for timely and comprehensive communication with the workforce
•  Maintains effective working relationships with airport management, FAA, TSA, other government agencies, suppliers and similar groups
•  Collaborates with other supervisors to achieve guidelines and goals
•  Identifies and takes action to correct unsatisfactory results
•  Identifies the training and development needs of AMTs in the area of ​​administration
•  Provides effective feedback to Team Leader and leads training/development
•  Works effectively with union management and staff
