We are looking for a Senior Systems Manager. A system administrator is responsible for the support, configuration, maintenance and operation of both hardware and software infrastructure. Includes working with Microsoft 365 with an emphasis on Teams, the tight A/D structure of the Microsoft 365 hybrid, and understanding  Microsoft licensing. Experience using Active Directory is required. Engine management experience is a plus.

Key Functions / Job Description

•  The system administrator is responsible for the server environment
•  Work and communicate with multiple teams to resolve errors and analytical issues
•  Maintain, update, build and implement all features of the Microsoft 365 environment
•  Discover, define, build and recommend improvements to existing M365 environments
•  Maintain, support and manage email gateways and spam filtering technologies
•  Install/configure new servers according to standards and functional requirements
•  Maintain, configure, monitor, configure and troubleshoot server hardware and software
•  Develop, maintain and contribute to the documentation of installation and configuration procedures 
•  Manage user accounts and access to systems
•  Manage tickets/issues sent to the admin queue
•  Other duties as assigned

 Job Description - Requirements

 Desired skills:

•  Experience in IT project development, management, implementation and delivery
•  Thorough knowledge of Microsoft/Office 365, Active Directory and Azure, directory synchronization
•  Experience in troubleshooting, design and implementation and migration 
•  Experience with domain administration, GPOs, email gateways and spam filtering. Knowledge of SMTP, MX records, DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, HTTP(S), SSL, etc.
•  Experience with virtualization technologies
•  Experience with Windows Server systems (2012-2019)
•  Expert in 32-bit and 6
• -bit Windows desktop and Office platforms  (Win 7 - Win 10)
•  Basic knowledge of audio/video technology is considered an advantage
•  Experience with the Manage Engine product line is a plus

 Standard:

•  Experience and working knowledge of Microsoft 365 products, Active Directory and Azure
•  Ability to work in a group and individually
•  At least 6 years of IT experience, preferably in O365 and system administration tasks
•  At least 3 years in an Office 365 administrative role
•  Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
•  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including documentation
•  Ability to quickly learn new technologies and skills
