 What do you want to do:

•  Build, coach and mentor a global team of Ad Product Managers. Drive product strategy around some of Yelp's most important systems, including bidding, cadence, ad targeting, and more. Interact with the executive team to inform bottom-up initiatives, collaborate and work on vision and strategy.
•  Work with other leaders in the organization such as Biz Ops, Product, Engineering, and GTM to define company-wide strategy and connect goals  to the advertising roadmap.
•  Facilitate team development by promoting learning opportunities and new jobs. Collaborates with other functions such as Finance and HR to ensure  team  success by managing budgeting, hiring and compensation practices. 

What it takes to succeed:

•  10 years of  experience in product advertising and marketing. 5 years of experience as a responsible product manager, preferably with group product management experience.
• A passion for Yelp and our mission to connect people with great local businesses. 
• Demonstrated ability to deeply understand  technical products and a proven track record of achieving significant business results in terms of iteration and clean new development.
• Experience the creation of healthy, collaborative and responsible cultures.
• Proven track record of developing design leaders with varying levels of experience.
• Strong ability to work and communicate with a wide range of people – you can go from a room full of data scientists to a successful client organization and be successful and effective in both forums.
•  Excellent Ownership - You have a problem, focus on the solution and implement the right level of process to do so.
•  Technical training, for example. Things like physics, math, economics and/or general algorithms.
