  What you do:

•  Build, direct and mentor a world-class team of advertising product managers.
• Drive product strategy around Yelp's most important systems, including pricing and pacing, ad targeting and more. Interact with the leadership team and communicate plans  and collaborate and execute on vision and strategy.
•  Collaborate with  other  Biz Ops, Product, Eng and GTM organizational leaders to define company-wide strategies and link goals  to promotional action plans.
•  Promote team development by promoting new learning and career opportunities.
• Collaborate with other functions such as Finance and Human Resources to ensure the team is set up for success by managing  budget, HR and compensation policies.

What it takes to succeed:

•  10 years of product experience in advertising/marketplaces. 5 years of experience in managing product managers, preferably experience in managing group product managers.
• Passion for Yelp and our mission to connect people with great local businesses.
• Proven ability to deeply understand  technical products and  proven ability to iterate and innovate to drive meaningful business results.
• Experience creating a healthy culture that is collaborative and accountable.
• Experience in developing design managers at various levels.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills - you can transition from a room full of data scientists to a customer success organization and be successful and influential on both platforms.
•  Excellent ownership - you run to problems,  focus on solutions and apply the right level of process to achieve them.
•  Technical background e.g. something like physics, mathematics, economics and/or algorithms in general.

 What you get:

• Compensation ranges from $22,000 to  $00,000 per year. You may also be offered restricted stock units and incentives.
