  The Registered Nurse  is an integral part of the MinuteClinic clinical team. The role helps deliver medical services in a unique retail environment. Under the supervision of the MinuteClinic Health Services Supervisor and daily guidance of the Clinical Provider, the Certified Nurse Practitioner promotes evidence-based practice in all patient encounters while performing essential job duties and responsibilities as part of  training.

 Main responsibilities and tasks:

•  A Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNA) works in an advanced capacity to achieve significant clinical and operational efficiency at the practical level.
• Under the supervision of the MinuteClinic Health Services Supervisor and day-to-day management of the Clinical Provider, the CNA focuses on appointment management, workflow optimization and support and enables growth while  being able to provide a limited number of clinical services. patient care according to national regulations

  Patient care

•  Help manage patients in the waiting area and  set wait times.
•  Assist with patient registration and answer questions about MinuteClinic services.  Act as supervisor when requested by the patient or nurse in the primary examination room.
•  Clinical environment
•  Maintain the clinic rooms and waiting area so that they are clean, tidy and ready for patient care.
•   Ordering and maintaining appropriate supplies for the clinic.

  Additional tasks

 Under the supervision of a nurse or physician, perform additional medical services covered by the Certified Practical Nurse (CNA) certificate, such as taking vital signs, documenting electronic medical records, and assisting with procedures.
