Mountain West Bank is seeking a dedicated SBA Loan Officer II to join our great team in Coeur d'Alene. This position has routine tasks related to the booking, preparation and verification of documents for consumer and commercial loans; prepare loan documents, maintain and monitor the maintenance of reserved loans.

OBLIGATIONS AND LIABILITY:

•  Accurately prepare SBA loan documentation and modification terms  and professional time standards to obtain a completed loan application. Book all types of SBA loans and change  terms right within 2
•  hours of receipt. Perform loan servicing and complete SBA loan research programs. Perform routine loan maintenance tasks such as:
•  Process payments
•  Install and replace the AFT
•  Real and reverse payments of the loan 
•  Handle SBA loan repayments. Process and document bond release  as approved. The task is processed and submitted weekly, tracking all necessary issues.
•  Complete the SBA Loan File Review. Compile files and tag, track and trace exceptions. Log out and finalize the files. Investigate unrecorded and WIP/GL items - you make necessary corrections to loans. Review all reserved SBA loans  - track errors and track repairs. Take necessary actions for HMDA LAR and CRA reporting.  Work on required reporting (1502) and special projects as assigned. Train others.  Provide prompt, competent and friendly customer service to internal and external customers
•  Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

 Required qualifications/experience:

•  High school diploma or equivalent.  2 years or more  experience in loan policies, procedures and documentation.  Knowledge of banking policies and procedures. Full understanding of required documents and signature requirements of various entities. Full understanding of title reports and appropriate liens. Ability to multitask under time constraints and handle complex tasks effectively
•  Strong organizational and time management skills.  Strong attention to detail
•  Ability to work with tight schedules and  deadlines
•  Excellent internal and external customer service skills
•  Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
•  Good knowledge of basic office equipment
•   Word and Excel work experience

 JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to routinely perform work  in an indoor, air-conditioned shared workplace with minimal noise.
