The ideal candidate takes a consultative approach to sales - understands office models and identifies potential customer needs and decision criteria. You are primarily responsible for achieving your income goals.

 What you do:

•  Create a collaborative business relationship between Yelp and SMB digital marketing agencies (primarily local) and their advertisers. 
• Create consulting sales pitches to demonstrate how Yelp's promotional products can be used to connect with consumers. 
• Lead training sessions to help the agency become more proficient in designing and implementing effective campaigns.
•  Consistently exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals set by management while contributing to overall team goals.
• Develop and manage partnerships to ensure set goals are exceeded. Identify new agency partnerships that meet the growing expectations of Yelp partners.
• Map the structure of the agency  and identify key decision-makers, budget holders and agency decision-making processes.
• Provide accurate weekly forecasts and sales plans.
• Continue to work with agencies  to foster relationships, validate advertising needs and keep Yelp partnership in mind.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to increase revenue  with new customers. 
• Come to work every day with a positive attitude and ready to win. 

What it takes to succeed:

•  You have at least 2 years of experience in digital advertising  or working as an office associate
•  Proven success in meeting sales goals in a previous position
•  Experience working with executive level marketers
•  Familiarity with pay per click advertising is a plus
•  Excellent communication and presentation skills
•  Flexible, self-starter mentality and ability to work in a very dynamic, fast-paced work environment
•  He is a self-starter, a team player and has a strong desire to exceed goals
•  You know Powerpoint, Excel and Salesfor
