 PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS

•  Manage defensive security systems such as antivirus, intrusion prevention systems, SIEM systems and/or vulnerabilities.
• Conduct research on new security systems and evaluate vendor solutions.
• Act as the company's primary  expert in the field of information security technology used in one or more  corporate environments.
• Monitor and respond based on alert systems and assess issues related to changes in threat or exposure.

 Job Description - Requirements

•  5 years of experience in  similar positions. History responsible for managing the technologies  described above. Training:
•  Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related field preferred (combination of education, work experience and training may be considered).  Other requirements:
•  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•  Able to analyze data, identify problems and draw logical conclusions
•  Team work; establish and maintain effective and relevant working relationships with those contacted during the workday
•  Ability to produce and present technical information on security technology solutions and trends
•  Ability to work  evenings and weekends if necessary
•  Some travel within the United States
•  Other duties as assigned
