 The Starbucks experience begins in our roasteries, where we have a dedicated team of skilled roasters and  process support teams, including planning, inventory, packaging, roasting, maintenance, engineering and logistics

  As a production manager, you can:

•  Manages raw coffee operations and logistics, production planning, inventory management and material planning and operations. 
• Support other production operations including loading, roasting and packing of green beans.
• Follow standards and processes such as Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) to ensure product quality. 
• Create and maintain a uniform, positive and clean work atmosphere. Ensure  company, plant and departmental information is communicated effectively and in a timely manner to supervisors, colleagues and your team including supervisors, managers and partners. 
• Ensure partner development and satisfaction. Provide  timely performance feedback to partners.
• Act as a technical expert and coach to team members. Support partners by presenting ideas to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor production output, volume fluctuations and labor utilization to ensure smooth production operations.
• To ensure product reliability, make sure partners work on the production schedule. Ensure sufficient staff to meet new business demands and volume fluctuations. Minimize waste to control costs.
• Manage costs by operating within established budgets, forecasts, cost targets and service levels. Support the implementation of initiatives aimed at improving costs, quality and service.
• Maintains all established plant and production goals and objectives. Report the team's progress and potential obstacles to the manager.
• Responsible for  management and/or implementation of food safety, legality and quality programs.
