 The Asset Management team focuses on managing the  operational movement of IT assets and consumable businesses throughout their lifecycle from receipt to disposal, including managing the relationship between hardware and software at Costco locations. Our team is focused on maintaining software compliance, identifying savings opportunities and providing visibility to our licensing position to all business stakeholders. We are looking for a Collaborative Analyst for a non-technical role to help us improve our IT processes and lead initiatives to create a positive impact in Costco IT.

ROLE

  •   Performs data audit and analysis of software assets, identifying data integrity issues and root causes of deviations. Data ranges from a single system to a larger export that requires comparative analysis.
  •   Resolves discrepancies between pulled inventory data and CARTS data. This may include detailed research on Flexera, CARTS and other source data (BigFix, SCCM).
  •   Supports all efforts to increase software visibility through the software  management tool. The main focus was how to learn more about the tool and ensure that all the information  included  is accurate and complete.
  •   Learns, understands and provides  expertise on appropriate asset management policies and procedures within procurement, contract, vendor management and business owner teams; ensure that the software installation reflects the decommissioning of the hardware  and that the new hardware is properly installed according to Software Asset Management (SAM) requirements.
  •  Creation, maintenance and reference of process documentation. This may include policy descriptions, reference lists, process flows or historical logs of resolved issues. 
  •  Initiates cross-collaboration with internal and supplier teams and supports team members in problem solving. ● Supports the development of the ITAM control book and related practices. This may include maintaining existing content, creating new content or participating in the development of updates.
  •  Supports deployment of new SAM publisher candidates.
  •  Identifies opportunities for efficiency through continuous process improvement and implementation of best practice solutions. 

 REQUIRED

  •  2 years of real estate management experience and knowledge of best practices in the field; or similar experience in  inventory/materials management. ● Strong understanding of hardware and software  life cycles and supply chain methods and processes; from purchase to disposal. 
  •  Experience in using Excel to analyze data sets is beneficial; including experience with pivot tables and formulas and the ability to compare different data sets.
  •  Analytical, detail oriented and demonstrates the ability to investigate and resolve effectively. Able to compare and review data to identify inconsistencies, able to communicate and understand root causes and take leadership in resolution; if necessary, you can contact other groups.
  •  You must have a positive attitude, the ability to work independently and  take initiative with a strong sense of urgency and ownership.  ● Must be able to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with suppliers, cross-functional teams, and  all  levels of the Costco organization.
  •  previous experience in successfully managing multiple projects and tasks; excellent organizational skills and  ability to prioritize  competing priorities and deadlines.
  •   Willingness to take leadership and direction  from management and colleagues; great and positive teamwork.
  •  Must be flexible and adapt to changes.
  •   Ability to work O/T as needed.
