   In this role, your main responsibilities will be to interpret and analyze the residual effects according to the various guilds, unions and production service contracts and their implementation. This includes calculating, preparing and processing residual payments, preparing and managing the financial forecast of residual liabilities, and working closely with cross-functional teams such as labor, production finance and corporate affairs to determine residual impacts across departments.

Obligations

•  Anticipation, determination, payment and reporting of outstanding debts.
•  Predict and estimate residual costs. Contact production accountants and manufacturers to gather  information for the rest of the settings. Analyze and interpret manufacturing and distribution contracts for residual liability.
•  Provide analysis to determine residual effects under various scenarios.
•  Collaborate across Netflix business units 
•  Work with third party payment processors to obtain necessary setup information and ensure complete and accurate settlement of outstanding payments. 
• Participate in the testing and implementation of new residual systems related to process improvement, efficiency and standardization.
• Collection of documents for guild  and internal audits.

 Qualifications

•  BA/BS degree in accounting, finance, business administration or equivalent and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in the entertainment industry is a plus. We expect 2 years of work experience in this field, preferably residual work.
• Remaining experience with new media is beneficial. Must be able to understand and interpret collective  agreements. 
• Financial analysis and modeling
• Excellent Excel and Google programming skills.
• Good communication and presentation skills both verbally and in writing.
• Highly motivated, analytical, proactive, organized and confident. Ability to plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• You must be able to work independently and versatile with business partners. 
• Flexible with evolving processes and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
