The information security analyst assists in the implementation, monitoring and compliance of information security processes. The Security Analyst helps identify critical vulnerabilities and mismatches, lead teams in remediation, improve functionality, maintain functionality, and expand coverage and vulnerability  across the cloud program. The  Security Analyst  also provides technical expertise and participates in security expert teams  and  processes that effectively protect the business and  related regulatory/compliance management  and other leadership.

 Responsibilities:

•  Makes complex and timely decisions on simple and complex business or security issues. Helps managers develop plans and strategies for information security tools, processes and programs. 
• Supports processes and methods to review and resolve non-compliance with information security standards and methods; facilitates the transition from incompatible environments to compatible environments
•  Supports the development of metrics and data that meet partner requirements  to drive significant environmental and performance improvements
•  Supports partners in achieving targeted  security, project control and monitoring levels
•  Supports the investment decision-making process by developing cases and cost-effectiveness analyzes for new information security solutions using standard methods
•  Document current and desired future state capabilities, including industry-leading technologies and regulatory requirements, that enhance AXP's ability to address security risks and protect data.
•  Use workflows that support and maintain cloud security capabilities
•  Monitor your cloud provider for updates and consider the security implications of updates
•  Collaborate with the Cloud Security Engineering team and deliver security code elements for private and public multi-cloud
•  Work with architects and SMBs to support and maintain end-to-end security architecture solutions.  Support  for Global Dev Teams port templates (Twistlock, OPA, TSSC, Sentinel, Cloud Native)

 Qualifications:

•  2 years of experience  in public or private clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP or private)
•  Knowledge of information security principles applied to cloud services is considered an advantage
•  Experience with vulnerability and configuration management, including operational reporting and metrics development
•  An understanding of classic or cloud-based design models is required.  Experience with Docker, Open Containers Initiative or similar is required. Understand cloud basics, including securing the public cloud
•  When using cloud applications, knowledge of information security configuration management, container security, endpoint protection, and secret management  is considered an advantage. Salary Range: $85,000.00 - $150,000.00 Annual Bonus Benefits
