 Kforce has a client in  Essex, MA that is looking for a junior to mid-level visual designer with strong visual design skills, an excellent systems thinker and  experience working with design systems. If they've created a comprehensive design system, style guide, and/or toolkit, that's a big plus. Summary: The OneDrive and SharePoint Design Studio is looking for a talented visual designer with a passion for user-centered design, impeccable visual style, systems thinking, innovative communication and accessibility. They  have the opportunity to work in a cross-functional team to create design solutions that improve users' lives and define a vision for the end-to-end user experience. The ideal candidate will be an advocate for the end user and have experience with a user-centered philosophy and visual design best practices. Qualified candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform design tasks at a high level within time and technical constraints in the face of competing priorities and ambiguous situations. The visual designer is responsible for creating inspiring concepts, using brand guidelines and participating in their development. The creations range from sketches and prototypes to high-quality layouts that showcase the perfect composition, colors and typography for a complete user experience.

 standard:

•  BA/BS or higher  in interactive design or related field (graphic design, industrial design, visual design) or equivalent work experience
•  2-5 years of work experience or similar work experience
•  Demonstrates  strong  systems thinking and visual design skills; Unreasonable attention to detail
•  Proficiency in Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop and similar design tools
•  Advanced user-friendly design for web and desktop experiences and the ability to work with mobile experiences
•  Ability to document user experience and interaction through wireframes, flowcharts, screenshots, design specifications and demos
•  Ability to rapidly prototype and iterate designs
•  Strong problem solving, creativity, communication and negotiation skills
•  Strong organizational skills (process oriented and ability to create systems/guidelines)
•  Independent and enthusiastic to build products (with minimal direction)

 Nice to have:

•  Knowledge or experience working with design brands is a big plus
•  Design codes (semantic slots, color systems) represent design choices as data that facilitate the systematic creation of harmonious and cohesive product experiences; They replace statistical values ​​(eg hex) with descriptive names and provide an elegant solution to maintain design consistency.
•  Experience creating style guides, toolkits and design systems is a big plus

 The salary range is from the lowest to the highest salary we reasonably believe in good faith  we will be paying when this position is posted. We may charge more or less than this range. Employee salary is based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, position, location, activity, union  and business needs. This area may be changed in the future.

Hourly employees are not entitled to paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees of the Contract Law Project are entitled to paid sick leave.
