What is the role of the warehouse worker?

• Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for all team members
• Take a safety training course to learn how to work safely in a dynamic warehouse environment
• Pack, load and deliver goods to shops and guests
• Ensuring the correct processing of goods for our stores and guests
• Work safely, quickly and efficiently to handle loads and move inventory throughout the warehouse
• Maintain a neat, clean and organized workspace
• Report to work on time and complete assigned tasks accurately and on time
• Participate in problem solving to support continuous improvement
• Maintain a positive and respectful attitude when working independently and in a team environment

Please note that work assignments are subject to change due to business needs.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry items weighing 35-50 lbs. often during shifts
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 60 lbs. from time to time during shifts
• Maintain a positive and respectful attitude when working independently and in a team environment
• Can apply basic math skills (count, add, subtract) accurately
• It can accurately read product labels, tickets, and other documentation
• After training, be able to operate computer systems or portable devices with minimal instructions
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Can be trained and safely operate all powered equipment (including but not limited to pallet jacks, scissor lifts, seated and standing forklifts)
• Must be able to understand, speak, and read English with sufficient proficiency to follow safety and other regulations, training, and instructions. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Grocery Distribution Center Only:

• Ability to work in a variety of temperature controlled environments including refrigerators and freezers
