 The Partner Manager manages third-party partnerships within the OptBlue and Aggregator models, ensuring productive and profitable partner relationships  that support Amex's goal of maximizing card acceptance for small merchants in Mexico. The main responsibilities are:

•  Obtaining the property of the partner. Work with acquisition partners to develop strategies to create value for  American Express and its partners.
•  Design and implement strategies to ensure American Express is available as a payment method for all Partner products (eg, point of sale, contactless, e-commerce).
• Leads tactical strategies to manage referral channels for merchant  engagement, secure activation, engagement, welcome acceptance and activation for maximizing cardholder and sales volume for to the business  Ensure compliance verification.
• Work  with internal teams such as Global Procurement Capabilities, Marketing, PCG, Pricing, GCO and GSG

 qualifications

•  At least 3 years of experience in the payments industry.
• Extensive business experience and ability to manage external partnerships with strong communication skills to influence others in  challenging environments.
• Ability to analyze and identify  root causes of problems to provide accurate solutions and achieve results.
• Understand the main financial factors to achieve your goals. Ability to work in a team, developing strong communications within a blue box and across multiple functions. 
• Personal responsibility for moving forward to achieve individual and group goals. 
• Bilingual (English / Spanish). Employment will be performed by American Express  upon  successful completion of a background  check, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
