You are pragmatic and practical in understanding your risks and safety, but you are also willing to know when to call in the experts and escalate the situation. You will collaborate and innovate with other  Capital One teams to move forward. You are comfortable with cloud service technologies such as storage services, security and access control services, container services, and API access and management. You will learn about different cloud computing models, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, and their architectural differences. Security is critical to what we do, from protecting our customers to our colleagues.

 Responsibilities:

•  Serve as the central point of contact for other information security and risk management in your industry at Capital One
•  Coordinate and implement proactive security consulting for business and technology teams covering infrastructure security, resilience, security, network architecture and design, and access rights management.
•  Act as an expert on Capital One's information security functions, solutions, policies, procedures and standards
•  Influences customers to use information security opportunities and solutions so that information security can be moved to the left in  development processes and integrated.
•  Scale up and manage cybersecurity risks
•  Provide ad hoc support to the company on special information security topics 
•  Provide your business leaders with regular updates  on the overall information security health and risk environment
•  Work with industry leaders to anticipate their goals and needs to better serve the industry
